decided not to go out and get some real good rest after the shaggening (haha, so much for standard English ) weekend, spending time having quality sleep, jogging and typing some nonsense here for you guys to read.
alright, actually i couldn't really go out to meet the other Band people at Sentosa because my mum didn't allow me to. she says i need rest. (i'm putting her words in a very nice way here, HA!) ya, i agree i need rest after going out for 3 almost-full day for mainly school, band and church. can't help but feeling a bit guilty because... :D i'm sorry!

there's Band Investiture aka Handover on Wednesday. so now, i'm officially given the responsibility from Dafril to take the section well, especially when SYF 09 is coming next year. very stressful you can say, having to "renew the Band's GWH license" and move on, especially after experiencing the setback in Cathigh for SYF 07. i guess i can do nothing much but to once again, hand everything in His hands and let Him lead me through this.
putting that aside, it's pretty saddening to see our seniors go, to adapt to a smaller band, to adapt to the fact that we no longer have Charissa to tune to us/to let us tune to -.- oh yesyes, the seniors! if any of you ever see this i hope you liked our gifts to you, although i must give credits to Oli and Jialing because they were the ones who did more things than me, being a stupid guy who's bad at such stuffs :P
shall upload some photos after i've gotten hold of them. anyway, kudos to Kai Keng and Eric who did a superb job in coming up with the video for J1s to watch, in a day! it's super entertaining and funny and emo and touching at the same time! good job. and good job to Daniel Cher who did the editing for the video to J2s!

church. Bible study came and went, topic's on "Hearing God's Music", to spend quality time with Him everyday to talk and listen. 預查 (beforehand Bible study preparation) took up my Friday night, but it's alright, of course :D my first time leading a Bible study (it was the DS's job before this one) and got too stressed before leading because i couldn't prepare myself mentally, with Band and P&W practice crammed before that. because guess it turned out well, thank God. and thankyou my POMEGRANATE group members for responding well during Bible study, sorta gave me the confidence to continue! and i'm sorry to Jin Chi for converting my stress into your stress before the short P&W before cell! playing 七等豬 after TQ is super fun btw :P
Sunday's Disciple was great. i can say that, once i've done my work properly and thought through before attending the week's lesson, i'll bring a lesson learnt back home to reflect on. New Testament is more interesting IMO? oh yeah. P&W, served as bassist this week, 'twas great, reflected somewhat on the stage on the lyrics of certain songs. Rev Foong's sermon was quite ok, i actually managed to stay concentrated all the way till sermon ends! goes to show how making a deliberate effort to absorb can actually make a difference.
went to J8 Subway to have lunch with the others after everything, while my other bros decided to head to Downtime at Thomson to play DotA. -.-

headed to Agnes' house to play a few rounds of Mahjong, without money like duh. yes WEIIEN, stop laughing at my pair of eyes and 獨眼龍 and my 2 一萬s because i won a round at least :D seriously long time didn't touch already, in fact i think it's only the third time i'm playing Mahjong! okay i guess i've made all of them burst into laughter at my chui and retarded Mahjong antics, went home after that.
the retarded part comes: i overslept on 156 and ended up at Sengkang Interchange. but when i just woke up i thought i was at Punggol because i thought i was on 43! and i was wondering why the sign says there's 87 there. -.- i think i was seriously too tired! (that's why i'm resting now, got link?)

it's okay people, don't despair don't despair! look forward, no point dwelling in what's over, there a next time to come, work hard and we'll reap what we sow!
alright i don't know why i'm so random but yeah :D guess i've got to go to "rest my eyes" (sounds familiar? recall Mr David Chen!) and do some work. God bless people!
