it's time to say goodbye?

To my Led Zeppelin songs? Hmmm...

That's something which is really bothering me since yesterday. Something in Disciple lesson with CYLS which set me thinking deep.

So CYLS was talking about the numbers in Revelation: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 24, 666, 144000... Then she said something about not succumbing to temptations, not even allowing yourself to have a chance of it. So she went on talking about metal, rock, something about 80% of rock songs being Satanic, that the evil messages will get to your subconscious mind, backmasking, New Age music, Zen, meditation, yoga, pilate...

Okay, and I was badly confused, especially when I like Led Zeppelin songs. Hmmm... Just as much that I don't want the songs to take control over me (which obviously didn't happen) if they really have evil intentions, I believe in the fact that no one in the right mind will listen to 'Stairway to Heaven' backwards.

I don't really have a clear idea of what Robert Plant is singing in their songs anyway, since I listen out more for their instrumental stuffs. But of course I don't deny the fact that it may influence people subconsciously, but oh well...

But strictly saying, there are always Christian rock songs too. For example, we hear and watch Planetshakers jamming hard on their Gibson and Fender electric guitar at some point in time in Expo this year. So, how are we, as Christians, actually take a stand regarding rock music?

Maybe something taking KI can answer that?

Haha alright. Till the next time people? :D
