Before I get back to my OP preparation (oh well well well, did I even open the "OP Script - Yi Yong.docx" file anyway), it's time to clear some cobwebs here for my readers! Yay *acts excited*
October's almost gone, so many things happened, for example Central's no longer Central, it's now okto and Vasatham now. And I think the Indians around Singapore should be quite happy because they can watch Tamil shows all around the day. Okay this is kinda random :/
Okay, I've opened my "OP Script - Yi Yong.docx" file.
September was quite an interesting month for me. Okay not really actually. Can't really remember much other than
1) SOME person got chickenpox,
2) We had promos,
3) I got a new PC.
TADAH! Hail the new 1680x1050 pixel screen. It took me quite some time to get used to the 22-inch Acer monitor because things have never been so big before. (and everything on screen seems so small compared to it) But it gets very shiok once i get used to it because...
I can read documents 2 pages at one go at 98% zoom level!
Alright, I just realised that my OP Script's in Compatability Mode. So it's should be .doc and not .docx -.- Oh well well.
So. After Promos, there's stupid WR. WR really wastes our time. And money too, not the fact that time is money, not the printing the 77 page report, one Black and White and one colour part, nope. but the part when you spend lots and lots of money on food, snacks, drinks, whatever, to keep yourself awake and sane to continue vet through your longlong WR Draft 3. :/
but through WR it showed me some things. that my 二姐 is actually very nice. she went back to her school (NTU Arts Design Media which lets you use their laser printer like free and no tomorrow) specially to help me print our WR the day before our submission! just too bad that Wireless@SG wasn't working well on Wenyi brother's laptop, I pissed her (my 二姐, not Wenyi la duh) off because I was late to email her for an hour. But nevertheless she kinda got bought over by a pack of pitted prunes, haha! Which explains why WR drains money too. Okay so once again, thank you and sorry my sister!
And finally we submitted stupid WR. Then? OP. :\
But actually I really thank Him for everything regarding PW up till now. Like my very kind and interesting and nice and fun PW group members who make PW sessions much more tolerable and fun. (at least they won't get angry when you deesiao them, haha!)
Like the topic we've chosen, something that can keep our interest.
Like how we faced problems such as unable to substantiate our ideas and how we find ways in the end.
Like how we realised that everything we did for OP wasn't okay recently and how we managed to change our scripts and how we got our enlightment from the HOD of PW.
Like how I managed to think of the plot for the OP video within a night, and film and edit and produce it in another day and night. Using a software which I've never used in my life (Sony Vegas).
I've learnt that really, if you hand everything to Him, He will take care of it. And when you think that things are impossible, they ARE possible. Take completing that OP video within a night. People came up to me and told me, "are you sure you can finish doing the video? Editing video is not an easy job you know." Yes I know, I certainly know, especially when I've to end up using something that I've never used before since Windows Movie Maker's horribly lousy (come ask me how lousy it's) and I couldn't get a Mac with iMovie HD 6 (since my sister has to use hers). Oh well. I even wanted to give it up when I realise that WMM couldn't get my job done.
But He has a way. He gave me the will I never expected myself to have. Like, me sleeping an hour and half, staying up just for the video?
So even when our OP presentation wasn't good as commented by HOD of PW later on that day, even when I was dazed and drowsy and fidgety throughout my speech, even when our slides were criticised and we had to redo everything, including our speech. At least, the video turned out fine and relevant (without subtitles though) and it made everyone in the room laughed for the whole five minutes. And i thank Him because he let me through that.
Yes, bragging you may call. But not really so, there's nothing to brag about. I didn't post the video on my blog and start telling everyone how I did it within a day and whooo, it's fabulous. (I tried posting it on Youtube though, but heh, my PW group members were totally against it because they think they were unglam :( ) But rather, something else which really made me want to talk about this - God's blessings.
Like what the song that we played during 禱告會, 《計算主的恩典》. We're very blessed, all of us. It's just a matter of perspectives. Know how to count your blessings, and you'll realise how beautiful the world is. *NO LINK?*
Okay seems like I've moved on from this to that to everything. Never mind if you don't want to read this whole chunk of words, doesn't matter, I'm still a happy boy :D.
And I'm happy because. (: :) XD :D :P ^^
