Haha, I've lost my momentum to blog again :/
No, gain back the push to blog, I shall! (Who does that sound like? Is it Yoda or something? I forgot -.-)
Anyway. The past Sunday was a very special day, it's the birthday of two very important persons in my life: my dad and Wife. Go click on the word 'Wife' to find out more about her.
So to celebrate such a joyous occasion my family and I went to some 阿一海鮮 and have some 6-person 10-course feast (even though we only have 5, because my Wife didn't go because she can't eat) at a discounted price. It was *WOW* and it made me :D :D for the rest of the day, which is only with 4 hours left then? -.-
Yes, through the year my Wife has accompanied me through many things here and there. The many times I serve for Sunday service, the sweat, the joy, the fun, the seasons in the sun (sorry I can't help it!)... Even though it's not the best Wife around, many mocked and made fun of her skin colour, including the BLACKBLACK who wants her lime green Husband HAHAHHAAH. But hey. For such a smal amount of 聘金, can't expect much right!
...
Class chalet was a blast. Totally!
Haha I'm serious. How often do you get to...
Play some Bridge and Charades;
Play ball and laugh out loud;
Cycle around Pasir Ris Park as a group and talk rubbish;
BBQ, eat and drink like a happy boy;
Celebrate birthdays and end up high-ing on a guitar and singing like mad dogs;
Play retard games with lots of water bombs as forfeit;
Night cycle to Downtown East;
Roam in Downtown East when every shop's closed;
Night race back to chalet;
Continue playing card games like Bluff and crack up like no one's business;
Play Indian Poker and do crazy and stupid forfeits;
Play BLIND MICE with 12 other people in a room, at 3am;
Play 'Muderer' with twitching mouths to kill people;
Stone, look at people playing Whacko;
Sleep for 3 hours;
.
.
.
(It's kinda boring in the morning haha)
In just, 24 hours?!
(Haha yes, I set out at 1.30PM from home on the 10th and reached home at 1.45PM on the 11th)
Just realised it's really a very different chalet compared to my 4-8 chalet last year, although both are full of joy, laughter, peace and hope. :D yipeeeeee.
Haha, the people really do make a difference though.
...
Anyway.
Haha, nothing to do with Christianity this time round, just find this song really nice. Combination of two very different Mayday songs, but the link was so smooth and the lyrics really made sense together and got through me. About the lack of humanity and craziness of the world, so much to an extent people really hate it and want to get out of it.
Read Mayday's 《下課後, 怪獸家點名!》, kudos to Daniel Cher who lent me his ezlink card to borrow that book from Esplanade. Mine was banned from borrowing a book till I pay off my fines which accumulate up to $21 because Dad displaced my library book (it was 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time' by the way) into some random shelf last year and I found it recently! Heh.
So back to the book. There was this part where one of the Mayday members (Ah Shin if I didn't remember wrongly) said that there were conservative Christian nuns commenting that the lyrics of 《瘋狂世界》 would drive people towards suicidal tendency. Haha apparently it's something funny but hmm. Sort of reminded me of the issue with selecting music to listen again.
Anyway... To me, the song is more about people wasting time doing stupid things on Earth and how tired people get of the worldly pursuits and dealing with emotions and just want to put a stop to it. It may be written from a point of view of people with suicidal tendency, but the song does not encourage people to suicide.
But oh well, whether it is really about encouraging suicide, search for the lyrics, decide yourself. Haha.
Enough of crapping here. Need sleep badly! Need to recover fast from the sore throat and cough and flu I've caught since Chalet, so that I can be alive, kickin' and singin' again yo!
Shall talk more about life tomorrow. And reply the endless number of tags which I never replied. Alright, God bless everyone!
You want, but they need. 這是原則上的問題.
